Each year we select a quantity of fruit from both our Tolpuddle and GlenAyr vineyards in order to make wine under the GlenAyr label. From this we produce Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines of medal winning quality.

GlenAyr also makes small quantities of Riesling, and a rare for Tasmania, Shiraz Caberenet Merlot blend. A vintage Pinot Noir Chardonnay sparkling wine has just been released. Our wines all display an elegant fruit driven style that can only be found in wines produced from the best in cool climate locations.

Vintage 2007 Tolpuddle Cuvee
This classic cool climate sparkling wine is produced from a blend of 47% Pinot Noir and 53% Chardonnay.

Aging on yeast lees has resulted in a wine of great flavour,
intensity and complexity.

This wine was awarded a bronze medal at the Tasmania Wine Show 2011.

2009 Riesling
The Riesling has sweet honeysuckle aromas with a fresh fluffy and well balanced mouth feel.

A very elegant wine that is drinking well now but will reward with cellaring.

2008 Chardonnay
This elegant and well balanced Chardonnay is a result of perfect
grape growing conditions combined with the careful use of
French oak and partial malolactic fermentation.
Enjoy now or cellar for a few years.

This wine was awarded a gold medal at the 2011 Tasmanian Wine Show.

2008 Pinot Noir
This delicious fresh and lively fruit driven Pinot Noir has
toffee and light peppery aromas.

The careful use of French oak has produced a wine with subtle tannins that is to be enjoyed now or cellar for the short term 

This wine was awarded a bronze medal at the 2009 Royal Hobart International Show.

2006 Shiraz
The wonderful sweet red fruit aromas blend with a touch of vanilla and subtle pepper and spices.

Concentrated, deep and rich, with good structure and a lengthy finish this wine is to be enjoyed now but will reward with medium to long term cellaring.
