This was only the second year that the Richard Langdon trophy was awarded to Tasmania’s best vineyard, and in 2006 Tolpuddle was privileged to be named the winner.

This award was initiated by the Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania in order to promote and encourage world class viticulture management in Tasmania’s vineyards. DPIWE and the Vineyards Association of Tasmania partner the award program, with a judging panel extensively appraising each of the vineyards entered.

The winning vineyard is judged on many criterion including, disease and weed control, soil and water management and fruit quality.

Some of our current vintages have been lucky enough to be awarded the following medals.
